Take heed of bait and switch warnings, this hotel claimed not to be aware of our booking and very helpfully assisted us to transfer to a friends establishment, a check of reviews since this experience highlights that we are far from the only 'victims' of this practice.

Don't book on HostelWorld.com. They say they don't take bookings via hostelworld, despite the reservation I made. My guess is they conveniently lost the reservation to try and get us to take their 400 euro suite!

It's sort of a hell-hole, but a nice hell-hole. If they had adequate security [ie. storage lockers] then it would just be sort of sleazy and charming.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely and clean. The doors tend to slam when they are left to close so this makes quite a bit of noise when people are leaving their room. Otherwise we had a very happy stay at hotel Le Laurier Blanc.

Pretty and very helpful receptionist! haha. but seriously, it was a pleasant stay. price is a little steep, but u get what u pay for. 5 min from the main train station. 15 min walk to promenade des anglais.

My room was ridiculously small. Bad impression.They even did not try to give me another one. Not reccommended.

I have no idea what Hotel Le Blanc was like because when I arrived I was told there was no room and there never was a room under my name. We have to find other accommodation.

Just redecorated and so very new and clean. The staff were very helpful. Only negative thing was that room keys were left at anunattended reception where anyone walking in off the street could help themselves. Otherwise excellent for the price respect location and time of year.
