A few minutes walk from the station, so location is good. Air conditioning appeared to not work, but windows were open, and maybe there are sensors? Later in the day, the ac worked, which was very nice. Staff was friendly. He even went out of his way to get me hot water for tea. when we got there both the TV and air conditioning unit were broken and the staff was less than eager to get them working. good location though w/ cheap and basic accomodations - ok value

hotel is at a good location, 10 minu from beach.room is tidy and clean. quiet for sleeping.don't like the fact that we have to leave the key with reception when we going out.

Don't stay here! Cheapskates pretend the air conditioners are broken unless you press the point. We booked a 3 bed room for 3 people and it turned out to be just a 2 double beds, so that was a disappointment

It's located across from the ND church, right off the main shopping road that also leads you straight to the beach which is about a 10 min walk, not bad at all. You had to ring the doorbell to get in, and there were security cameras throughout the hotel. The staff was pretty friendly, although it seemed like we were one of the only people staying in the hotel, and it was over Easter weekend, so that was a little creepy. Our room was cleaned up after our first night, but the sheets weren't changed; just the bed's were made. All in all, it was worth the 30 Euros a night, and I would stay there again.close

Brilliantly clean, bathroom was imaculate. And the front desk was really helpful. Great location - very central - not a great place to meet people as there's no communal area but that's not necessary. Highly recommended

Hotel du centre Nice was excellent! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Good location- near train station and short walk to beach. Rooms were clean, bright, and comfortable. Would definately stay here again!

Disappointed, had way better accomodation whilst travelling Europe at a fraction of the price!! Location was the only good point, moody cow at reception, hairs on my bed, no lockers, room was roasting, air con leaked!! Poor for the price! This hotel was very dirty and unclean. We were on the 4th floor and all the floors below were disgusting and had sheets, beds and junk in general piled up along the hallways. I think that the 4th floor was the only one that guests stayed on. Our room had stains all over the sheets and a hole in the wall. The bathroom did not look as though it had been cleaned in sometime. When we spoke to the staff, they said there was nothing they could do and would not give us a new room or refund our money. We left anyway. I will make sure to tell everyone traveling to Nice how terrible this hotel was.close

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And for the price you get a very nice private room with your own bathroom, tv, phone, and ac. It is located very close to the train station and shopping area but not so close to the beach and the heart of Nice. Our room was extremely noisy all night long starting from the people hanging around the Notre Dame to the garbage trucks picking up garbage at 4 in the morning to the squaking of pigeons. Would not stay at this hotel again

I was just here for one night and it was great! A huge room - 2 beds, a couch, chair, desk, phone, tv, and 2 huge windows. It is very convenient if you are arriving by train - only a short walk. A longer walk to the old town and beach but great shopping along the way.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay and Nice itself is awesome. The staff made us feel really welcome and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I'd definitely reccomend this hotel!

The Hotel du Centre Nice is a charming, clean and centrally located place to stay. The staff was pleasant and willing to help out anyway they could, and the 24 hour receptionist made us feel safe. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I would definently return here for my next trip.

Easy to find from the train and very centrally located (although noisy at night). VERY small toilet area and shower stall was missing part of the enclosure ! Air conditionner didn't work and fridge needed to be fixed. Staff were helpful. An okay place at a budget price for Nice.

This place was fabulous! The rooms were clean, and the hotel itself is adorable. The AC was just what we needed. They are redoing some of the floors, but that hardly affected us at all. Overall, I give this quaint hotel two thumbs up!

Hotel was close to train station. 15 min walk to beach. Lots of renovation work in progress at the time of our stay. Very small shower. Only one power point in the room.
