Great location and very helpful staff. Not the nicest/cleanest place around, however.

I think this hostel was very overated. The rooms were so so small and they smelt. Also the door to get into our hall way to our bedrooms was very tempormental, one night we ended up in the hall way for hours! trying to get in!!!

We had a lovely time here, everything was clean, it was nice to get towels! (as a backpacker, you take pleasure in the little things) The location was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves.

A really good hostel, one of the best I stayed at on my trip when you look at the mix of price, location and staff. Not the best kitchen facilities, but really, thats pretty small in comparison to all the great things here.

Two blocks from the beach and extremely close to a busy pedestrian street with excellent shopping and restaurants. Also, a nice little breakfast shop around the corner (Coffee-to-Go). Excellent price for this place!close

This place was literally a minute from the beach and there are plenty of shops on the street for food, wine, souvenirs, or anything else you need! Having free internet in the lobby and TV in the room was great, too.

This hostel was awesome. The staff was really helpful and took great care of us. It's like a minute walk to the beach and its right next to a major pedestrian street with a bunch of cafes and shops. The only downsides were that there were no lockers (but I still felt like my stuff was safe) and...

Bathrooms were very hard to deal with, water got everywhere. Also the rooms were very small, our luggage seemed to overpower the rooms. Also one of our beds broke literally right from under ourselves. The location was good though, a little farther from the train station than we thought.

Meyerbeer is really well located. its close to nearly everything. The free internet is a bonus, however the 8pm closing time of the reception was ridiculous. The rooms were fairly clean but a little small. The ´kitchen facilities´are just a microwave and fridge. It was still a good hostel.

Perfect place to stay. It was off-season so the price was outstanding. Everything was excellent. Only complaint was the free internet was closed at 8pm.. but otherwise its an amazing deal two blocks to the beach.

The staff members are extremely nice and helpful. And it is the most affordable place to stay in Nice. Every night we stayed there, we met cool people to go out with, etc. Just a tip, splurge the extra 4 euros a night and reserve the 4 person room. It is the same size as the 8 person room, except with half the people. Plus, it actually feels more like a hotel.close
