Nice is great but this place can be abit inconvenient. The lockout is a drag and they sometimes forget to turn the mood music off. Shop around, there are heaps of good places to stay.

Nice little hostel, not the big 'Wombat' style facility but nice and cosy. Gentlemen who runs the place is very helpful and friendly. No lockers in the 4 bed dorm I was in, but keys for each room.

Had a pretty good location and the rooms were clean. But there is a lockout from 10am til 2pm which is really irritating. also there is no alcohol allowed so you have to be sneaky if you want to have predrinks before you go out.

No social scene and the hostel didn't have lockers. Other than that, a decent distance from all of the important things in Nice and Patrick was helpful.

Apart from the accidental forgetting to change the old sheets to new sheets and there only being 1 toilet for each sex in the foyer, it was quiet, cheap and centeral.

The hostel is good. Kitchen is small but gets the basic things(only with Micro-wave). The rate is a bit expensive as there's no breakfast. However, the hot shower & cheap restaurants around can compensate a bit. Sadly, there's no room for luggage storage but Patrick is very nice and can...

The owner was very welcoming and nice! The place was clean and if you wanted to use a locker for your passport etc, you just had to ask him. The location is great, you can easily walk everywhere and it's close to the railway station. A good place to stay when in Nice!

Very clean hostel close to the station and also right off the main shopping street in Nice which you follow down to the beach and the Old Town. The hostel was immaculate and a good choice.

Hostel Chez Patrick was great! It was very clean, the location was great, and the owner was so nice! It's quite obvious that he invests a lot of time into making his hostel as welcoming and comfortable as possible. I would definetly stay here again. :)

Patrick, the owner and his wife were very welcoming and very efficient. We stayed a whole week for our holiday and we thought this backpackers was ideal. Only, problems were lack of kitchen facilities and the aircon was always on so could be a bit hot at night.
