If your looking to socialise with the rich and the famous and you have contacts to get on the guest list this place is for you. Located in West Chelsea. Full of beautiful people who know how to dance, great music and cool interior, would def recommend it for a big night on the town |

This is a great Irish pub just a few minutes down the street from Madison Square. It is a home away from home especially for anyone from Armagh and Cavan!! The staff is great craic and the owners Paddy and Angela make everyone feel welcome. Every night is a great night’s craic and it is definitely worth a visit!! |

Great pub, in Queens, New York. Bar staff are generally Irish and always up for a chat. Great venue for music and comedy with different events and acts popping up. Open very late for any night owls. Beer is cheaper than in Manhattan |

This pub has a great location just off a few min from Time Square! It is owned by 2 guys from Kerry. The head bar man... Bernie I think was his name, is from Arvagh in Cavan and is great craic!! Staff are all Irish and really welcoming and friendly. I will go back again on my next visit. Great food and good Guinness!! |

The best known "soccer" bar in NYC with games shown from all around the world attracting an international crowd of regulars. Great staff although the place itself is pretty charm free. Gets ridiculously crowded for major games when other bars might seem more attractive. |

Slane is a fairly new bar in Greenwich Village and has a nice atmosphere as it isn't too big and staff are friendly. Does great food also. |

Nice Irish bar in a cool area. We were there on a Tuesday night so was fairly quiet. Can imagine it gets a good crowd at weekends. Bar staff very friendly. |

This place is a typical New York Irish pub, gets really crowded at weekends. We went for a drink here on a Tues night and it was really quiet so we were a bit disappointed! We found it hard to find decent bars midweek. Most of them that were recommended to us were lounge style places, with lots of business people and not so much fun! Puck fair is chilled out place, old style decor, staff are friendly and the music is great. |

Its actually a bar and restaurant like many places in NYC. We went here for drinks only and it was ok, we got a seat pretty easy and a waitress came over really quickly to take our order. The bar and restaurant was full of business people. Its loud place if you are eating here, but for drinks its fine. We tried some of the cocktails cos they were very unique - had a cherry cosmo and we also ordered some champagne. They were pricey enough but we were treating ourselves. We only stayed here for couple hours and moved on to find something a little more fun and relaxed - was a little too "suity" for me! |

Nice bar in the Lower East Side. Even though it’s obviously an Irish bar, it’s not your typical Irish bar. You won’t see tacky shamrocks hanging from the ceiling, just the odd road sign! Here you’ve got a cool atmosphere, good music and a nice chilled out crowd. It wasn’t too packed either which was good. They have a room upstairs and downstairs that would be perfect for a private party. Staff were fast and friendly too. All in all a good night, even if we were a tad jet lagged! Open til 4am too! |

Deriving it's fame from a passing appearance in Sex in the City (I hear!!), this is the place for special occasions. Don't expect to rock up late and just walk in. Table service is the only way in without a booking, and then you are looking at $300 per bottle and you will probably have to buy 2 of them! But once you are there, it's well worth it! Not to mention that you are crashed out on an actual bed for the night! |

Went there after dinner on a friday night. It was recommended by our waitress in the restaurant. The pub is right in the middle of the Meatpacking District and close to all the clubs.
Inside the decor is okay, lots of stuffed hogs heads on the wall...the atmosphere was good though, it was crowded but you could still get a seat. Lively and good fun, and a good place for getting chatting to people, i would recommend going here for a couple before heading on somewhere else. |

We came across Opia bar by accident whilst looking for somewhere to have a glass of wine after shopping. The bar is located above Hotel 57th and its not far from Fifth Avenue. Opia is a dimly lit piano bar, its cosy and comfortable with low seating, couches and lots of candles creating an atmostphere that makes it hard to leave!
We had white wine and a cheese and charcuterie board, which contained more than enough for 2 persons. Extra bread was happily supplied on request.
This is a great place to drop in for a glass of wine in the evenings or maybe to start your night out. I would definately return |

Cool New York bar - the entrance is concealed from the street so look out for the big queue. You go up to it in a huge lift. Bed is a bar/restaurant/club. You can eat your meal or order your cocktails whilst lounging on a bed, very cool. Pretty pricey place and some odd characters here. Worth a visit though. |

Laid back with a local vibe and good jazz, Fat Cats is a great place to spend a few hours taking it easy and having some drinks in the Big Apple. Table tennis and games tables are also available to one side of the basement bar further encouraging the relaxed atmosphere among patrons. |

McSorleys is probably the closest to Ireland you will get in the United States. They serve a delicious dark beer for spare change and if hunger kicks in they serve up a hearty plate of cheese and crackers for about 2 dollars. This bar has been around long before Frank McCourt was being teacher man, and I am am sure it is a bar he visited frequently to forget about life for a while. Brogues will welcome you with Irish wit and one of the most nostalgia inducing drinks to be found. |
