Was touted as a uber-cool place, but really it's a wood lined cavern, with a glass picture at one end. When you get over the inital wow, and are seated, you begin to get uncomfortable quickly. When you get over the inital wow, and are seated, you begin to get uncomfortable quickly. First, you very close to the table beside ... certainly close enough to be intimately involved in their conversation. It was quite funny when we noticed that the couple beside us were interpersing Spanish into their conversation.. as we had already started to use a couple of words in Irish! Next you realise that the droning pointless music is very loud too... this in an effort to stifle the conversation problem above. All in all .. quite uncomfortable. Oh yeah ... the food. Limited menu. Amuse bouche was very nice, but after that it was all quite disappointing. The chef has talent, but the execution vould have been better. Maybe the room had already killed our night, so there was no going back! Another reason not to trust the concierge and to look for reviews from friends! Poor recomendation.close
