Great pub, in Queens, New York. Bar staff are generally Irish and always up for a chat. Great venue for music and comedy with different events and acts popping up. Open very late for any night owls. Beer is cheaper than in Manhattan

McSorleys is probably the closest to Ireland you will get in the United States. They serve a delicious dark beer for spare change and if hunger kicks in they serve up a hearty plate of cheese and crackers for about 2 dollars. This bar has been around long before Frank McCourt was being teacher... more

Cool New York bar - the entrance is concealed from the street so look out for the big queue. You go up to it in a huge lift. Bed is a bar/restaurant/club. You can eat your meal or order your cocktails whilst lounging on a bed, very cool. Pretty pricey place and some odd characters here. Worth a... more

This place is a typical New York Irish pub, gets really crowded at weekends. We went for a drink here on a Tues night and it was really quiet so we were a bit disappointed! We found it hard to find decent bars midweek. Most of them that were recommended to us were lounge style places, with lots... more

Laid back with a local vibe and good jazz, Fat Cats is a great place to spend a few hours taking it easy and having some drinks in the Big Apple. Table tennis and games tables are also available to one side of the basement bar further encouraging the relaxed atmosphere among patrons.
