You have a great look onto the Empire State Bldg when you step out of the hotel. Our room was clean and bathroom and beds were made every day. Though it was very quite outside it was warm enough in the room though we thought that the heating didn't work perfectly. Just perfect is the small breakfast in the morning. You can have as much muffins, coffee and tea as you want. We would come back again and stay here.close

Our shower made a horrible noise when it was turned to hot. We complained about it everyday and everyday the fixit man came to look at it but couldn't make it stop. Certainly not ideal, but not that bad either.

Has the potential to be a great hotel but needs modernisation and updating -- comfortable and clean with good room sizes.

I guess we just had a bad luck, since we received a room from 2nd floor that smelled really funky (diesel-like), excellent location and free muffins with coffee though.

It is frustrating to have to pay extra for internet, laundry, printing, lockers. I'm now at a hotel in CA paying 1/5 of the price and I get all of the above included.

Great price for the location...I would definately recommend this location over a hostel for the location, security and convenience...we requested a room with double beds and to our surprise we actually had 3 beds ..so a double bed room with 3 people is very comfortable.

Fair price for this particularly well located hotel. But they never accepted that whe have paid a 10% booking fee through Hostelworld and they said it was a well known problem. Could you solve this?

It is not because it is cheap for the location that the staff do not have to be friendly... do not ask for much but a smile, a "welcome"...

We were told without this we could not staff and we could lose the deposit and booking already paid through Hostel World. The staff refused to accept 2500 euro cash as security deposit and payment and insisted on credit card. Not very helpful if there's only one credit card in the group! Other than that (which was a major pain!) the staff were fine, the location was great, New York is Great and the room was as much as we'd hoped for at that price. Would recommended the hotel, but just be wary of the security deposit!close
