Our... more Me and my girfriend stayed here for five nights and it was ace, location is superb just down the road from the empire state and about a 10 min walk to times square! Although an absolute mission to the statue of liberty, best to get the subway considering your rite next to grand central. Our room was Huge! and had a corner balcony with a view of the empire state building. Personally I thought the rare bar and grill was pretty poor i wouldn't go there for breakfast as it's pricey and limited go down the road to the murray hill diner we had breakfast for a £5close

The location is absolutely brilliant, 37th and Lexington, its just two blocks from the Empire State building and an easy walk to Times Square/Grand Central Station. The location is absolutely brilliant, 37th and Lexington, its just two blocks from the Empire State building and an easy walk to Times Square/Grand Central Station. The area itself is quite safe, with a couple of really good delis, restaurants and Bars. I loved our room, which was had two queen beds and was HUGE. The decor is clean, if a little dated. We had air conditioning, all the facilities you would need including a full sized ironing board and iron. We also had a little kitchenette with fridge, toaster and kettle which was really handy if you wanted to save some money by having breakfast in. There is a really good burger bar attached to the hotel called Rare bar and grill and another jazz bar which has live jazz music four nights a week. The staff were great, especially the porter, who couldnt do enough to help us. This hotel is a little pricey, but for a treat its totally worth it!close
