it was a very nice stay and good conditions for an hostel!! the localisation is very good! The only thing that i didn't like was that the room are kind of small and we can hear the noise outside, but this hostel is worth it!

I stayed for a week at the hostel. The location is perfect for getting to the subway and from there all over manhatten. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pizza night is good too. I would stay there again!

Not even 5mins from Penn Station&Subway and 10min from Empire State Building. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, it's really good to have a bathroom en-suite (we were in a 4 bed female dorm), quality/price unbeatable! And breakfast is included. Would go back there and recommend it.

The location was great and I met some fun people but I thought the common room was more of a kitchen-type than a lounge type and not the best to meet people, relax and interact ! But overall a good hostel !

Fantastic location nr Times Sq/Broadway. All-in-all not a bad hostel. Rooms are small and v.hot. Quite rundown but clean. Great bagels&muffins for brekfast. Guy on reception shortchanged us on arrival though so be alert!

Mahatten Inn hostel has good location. It is close to Penn station if you taking amtrak. The room is clean and toilet is better then I expected. Also they provide breakfast which help save abit in expense. Staff may look unfriendly but still will help you if you have question. Please note they...

For those who cant check in on the day you booked for the room, they will still charge you the full amount and not the deposit even if it is 1 day. This is one of the hostel that don't allow customer's unforseen timing.

Pretty basic place but hey you get what you pay for! Had a private room which was great. It was clean and quiet and we could fit 2 suitcases in there. Hostel is in the best location! Staff were very friendly. Would definately stay there again.

Everything was ok, except the fact that we booked a 4-bedroom and in the middle of the night there were two more people put in our room, so that we were 6 in the room. It would have been nice to be informed about this at least.

Location was excellent. Room was a bit hot. Staff could have been nicer (they could say hello when travallers go by). All in all the hostel was very good for sleeping and resting. Breakfast was ok. The light was not adequate in the living room as well as the restroom.There wsa no A/C I felt.Six people such a small room was too congested.

Good location and friendly staff. One block away from a subway station, easy access from JFK and LGA. Good breakfast. If you are brazilian, most of the employee speak portuguese.

Vi were three women staying in a 4 dorm room. We experienced no problems. On the con: Warm rooms with no ventilation, tiny rooms and bathrooms. bathrooms are very clean, location is excellent. only negative point is that there are lots of stairs... so if you have huge bags... get prepared!

I have never been to the other hostels of New York City so I cannot compare, but I can say I had a lot of fun during a couple of days I spent in this hostel! I met new friends! I have no complaints abot "The Manhattan Inn hostel" at all.

they has no elevator! it's a terrible to lift with hands your lugges upstairs! the most awful thing is too noise at night because the window close to the road!

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm. Dorm felt very secure. No lockers in rooms though. Lockers downstairs (cost $5 US a day). Free breakfast was great! (all you could eat - bagels, muffins, fruit, OJ, coffee etc). Location was fantastic - 10 mins walk from the action of Times Square!

Very Good for the price but the room was a little small. But the location - just two minutes to the Madison Square Garden by walking. And if your flight is in the evening you can lock your luggage in a special cabinet. I would go there again.

It has an excellent location which is really good. It does not have an elevator so if you are carring a lot of bags best thing about it!!!! If you like a hot place it would be nice if not just be prepared

Great location. Tiny rooms but they did have a tv and a bathroom. Fine for a short time if you just need a place to sleep. Try L Hostel if you can get in.
