The staff was awful at every encounter! I came in several times late at night and the front door was open and no one at the desk, maybe this is why some strange guy was sleeping in the floor next to my bed one night. The location is great and it is cheap…. but if you don't have a contingency plan if they overbook your reservation, you will be sleeping in a subway station like I had to the third night.close

This is THE place to stay. Book it now before it gets booked out. Hotels could not be in a better location than this Hostel. Great rooms of a max of 4 people. Approx 20 steps to Times Square. Awesome cafe right next door. Fabbo!

Good location. Not very many bathrooms compared to bedrooms, and the beds are really shaky so anytime someone moves the whole bed moves a lot. Great otherwise though. It's nice to have a kitchen and refrigerator.

Graet location just Times Square. The place is clean. Rooms are big compared to other places i've stayed, at least the one I was sharing. No lockers in the room but fantastic passport/MP3 player sized lockers at reception and they also keep your laptop in a safe cupboard which was great. Free... more Graet location just Times Square. I think this hostel is really bad. It is not very clean, the rooms are very small and the staff seems to do his best to be non-friendly. I would never return to this hostel even if i have to pay double.

One of the staff is very unfriendly. Others are fine. The location of the Big Apple is excellent. Time square is just beside the hostel and the majestic theta is also around.

This Hostel is perfer for anyone who wants to stay right in the middle of Times Square... It was clean, reasonably priced and had a high level of security! Would stay there again!

Great location, its more like a hotel, with full reception and stuff. Good common room, with laundry, internet (paid or free wifi) and tables to sit and eat/chat. The room was a little smelly, but not that bad.

The rooms where a bit cramped compared to other hostels I stayed at (Hostelling International at Washington and Chicago) and they did not have lockers in the rooms, but safety boxes at the desk. Take a sheet, as the bedding is SO old that its stained and thin so doesnt do much. The rooms are hot and stuffy and the air conditioning hardly works. Great for location.. but thats it. Staff are unfriendly and if you want to put something in a safe it costs you every time you take something...
