We're also just two blocks from the L Train - 1 stop to Manhattan and 10 minutes to Union Square and the East Village! Loft Apartment-Style Living at a Low Cost -- Metropol offers the comfort and service of a bed & breakfast, at the price of a hostel bed. Our rooms are spacious and spotless, cleaned daily. Our kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, with dimmed lighting, AC/Heat, and Hardwood Floors. Our lounge offers cable television, free internet access, comfortable seating, and plenty of books and magazines for your reading pleasure. As a youth hostel, YOU MUST BE UNDER THE AGE OF 40 TO STAY AT METROPOL. Reservations made by those over 40 will not be honored. Check-In is 3pm daily. Taxes are NOT included in posted rates. New York City Sales and Hotel Occupancy Tax is 14.75% + $0.88/day/guest. Must be 18 or over, with valid passport or non-NY/NJ ID. 14 Day Stay Limit. Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations not received within 7 days of your reservation will be charged for the first night missed. So make sure you cancel in advance or notify us in case of any change in plans! U.S. Dollars, Credit Cards, or Traveler's Checks accepted. No Personal Checks or Non-U.S. currency, please. $10 key deposit, refunded at Checkout. Check Out at 12pm. You will be able to leave your luggage with us if your travel plans are later in the day. No smoking. No pets.
