Nothing special at all. Good price for what you got. Didnt get room cleaned a single time in six days, all room was boring, no people hung out in the boring lobby. Just a place to sleep during the night basicly!

GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY, HOWEVER VERY SPARTAN ROOMS, NEIGHBORHOOD CAN BE INTIMIDATING TO THE UNLEARNED. ONLY 1 WASHING MACHINE! NO SOAP IN TOILETS, BUT OVERALL VERY CRUDE AND BASIC BUT CLEAN AND SAFE, VERY CLOSE TO SUBWAY. DON'T EXPECT DELUXE AND USE COMMON SENSE AND YOU WON'T BE...

A nice place - especially for the price. Not to compare with a hotel - but again good value for the money. Oh bring some earplugs, the trains are loud.

The room could use a good dusting but was clean none the less and the place was spacious and clean. Well worth the low price. Only two blocks away from 6 train.close

Ideal for those on a budget. Clean basic comfortable and great breakfast included. Area was fine, even at night. We had a room that backed on the a railway but if you sleep lightly take ear plugs. it did'nt bother us.

The first impression on their customer service wasn´t the best, but after some talking they handled the mistake made by hostelworld.com on my reservation well,so I give´em credit for that. I´d probably go back.

If you need a cheap room, it is good for you. You will have a bed, but nothing else. If you are in New York it is enough, you will be in the city all the time, not in the guesthouse. The free breakfast = coffee + bread + marmalade (every day)

Above all, the location is not so comfortable. Certain existence of "I'm not belonging" kinda feeling discourage me to even make a quick shop for snacks. Other things are just fine for its price.

Very cheap, but rooms not cleaned during your stay and some are prison-like. However, good service (toast, internet for free) and very good value for money. A long way from downtown, but not too unsafe, and does have its own character.
