The price announced in hostelworld isn't correct. They demand some 12,5% luxury (!!) taxes per person (25% per 2 person). We complained about the price but it didn't help. They demand some 12,5% luxury (!!) taxes per person (25% per 2 person). We complained about the price but it didn't help. The total price was about 10e/person/night and was calculated about 4 times before we found there wasn't anything more in the price than just those taxes. And there is no luxury at all: terrible voices all night long because of the barking dogs and there's very cold in the rooms because of the open corridors. Airport pick-up is more expensive than other hotels, 10dollars. Rooms are not so nice as in pictures, at least our room wasn't like in those shown in the pictures and the atmosphere is cold in this hotel. The director of the hotel gave us some travelling tips but reared up when we didn't puchase to his services (expensive sightseeing tour over Rajasthan with own driver) and help extinguished immediately. In our second night we ordered beer in our room and after a while a guy in hotel stuff come and brought the beers, 3 bottles for 400rupees. we object to pay that..It came out later (when we asked the director that how on earth beer can be so expensive here) that the guy had cheated us and director reguired the guy to return our money. Only good thing during our stay in here. Cant recommend this place to anyone!close

Also, my taxi to the airport price was doubled from what they said (I didn't use them then). If you like this area, go next door to Hotel Ajante as the prices are the same or less and the service much better.close

The hotel is in Old Delhi which is not the nicest area of the city, I would avoid it after dark. Our room had no window, no hot water and the hotel was under major works at the time. The manager was also really rude to us and I would not recommend this hotel at all.close

This place is a real dump - easily the worst we have stayed in anywhere in the world. The staff were unfriendly and the room was disgustingly dirty. GO to the Hotel Ajanta next door instead.

This hotel is certainly not 3* but a typical asian budget hotel in the noisy and rougher side of Delhi. The room was OK but the bathroom was extremely dirty. We were lucky to be in one of the backrooms away from the street but I imagine if you have a front room it would be VERY noisy. The guys at reception were OK but the lobby boys were very pushy for tips and services as were the "travel & tour" desk. We decided against using them for this reason.close

They did look after my bag for me but when I went back to stay again in a room I had reserved they tried to rip me off again by telling me the room was much more expensive. I'd already been overcharged on my first stay so I decided to change to the hotel next door which was much cleaner and cheaper. They advertise that their rooms have air con but in fact they charge you an additional 5 dollars for these rooms. Also, unfortunately, the staff freaked me a bit. Always hanging around and all men, I personally didn't feel that safe and I was pleased to leave.close

We enjoyed our stay although we felt th staff pressured us a little too much to book a trip with them to Rajasthan (which we did not book with them).
