we thought the hostel itself was a safe place to stay and the staff were helpful. we had requested a double room and when we got there we were shown to our room on the top floor (2nd) where had window that over looked the street however a few mintes later the same man who had shown us our room... more we thought the hostel itself was a safe place to stay and the staff were helpful. we had requested a double room and when we got there we were shown to our room on the top floor (2nd) where had window that over looked the street however a few mintes later the same man who had shown us our room appeared and said there had been a mistake and that he would show us our "real" room, a twin room without a window. He told us we could either have this room or the other room were at that point our luggage had been left so we could view the other room.The room we had originaly requested as far as I was concerned which as luck would have it was availabe would cost another rs 200 or rs 300 per night. we took the room with a view at the extra cost.There were dogs barking what seemed all night that my other half slept though not me. This is of course no fault of the hostels just my personal observation should you be a light sleeperclose

Good service from the reception, very useful to buy train tickets.

Room was ok but i was conned into paying 300 rupees extra for A/C (not required in November). Ask for a quiet room as the ones facing the street are noisy.
