It is overpriced (800 rupee a night for single) for being so far away from the city center everything. Don\'t stay here unless that lower the price for you. Also, none of the rickshaw drivers could ever find the place... i had to have the family draw a map for all my drivers. close

Must see/dos in Delhi: - Goto Old Delhi and visit market and red fort - goto lotus gardens, surprisingly calm and beutiful and green, sthg you dont often see in delhi - take pictures or food stalls, they're real scarey..... - jump onto a rickshaw and hope you're still intact at the end of the ride (be sure to bargain, they'll charge you extra just cos ur a tourist) - watch a hindi movie (there's some nice cinemas, particularly the PVC near hotel "The Grand"). they have reclining seats to cater fo rthe 2.5hrs+ movies - catch the Metro, its new and surprisingly clean (though questionable who long it will be kept that way) though limited network.close

And the worst part wasn't even the place, but the people - they made a bad place insufferable - they assaulted our sense of personal space from the second we stepped out of the door to the second we got back - from taxis folowing you fro 30 minutes asking every few seconds if you wanted a taxi, and then accusing you of being rude when you finally break and start shouting at them, after all efforts of polite rebuttal have been ignored, to street sellers, to just people coming up to you and expecting you to be al friendly and conversational, and after explaining that you are very tired, and need some peace, thanks, they still just keep talking!!! We felt like it was hell on Earth, and left in the worst, most flea bitten mood imaginable. I hate it.close

It is tru that you either hate it or love it. For me it definitely leans on the negative as the people were the hardest to deal with. It is ahrd to enjoy yourself when people are trying to screw you at every single moment. All everyone cares about is how much money they can get out of you. Makes For a very tiring experience when you are literally fighting people of with a stick.close

Incredible Home Stay100%
Afternoon tea in lovely relaxed surroundings. The portion size for one is more than enough for two, but you have to get the extra beverage as only one included. Sample the hot chocolates, the white hot choc is totally yummy! Still having cravings for it!

1This hotel was ok, the staff were friendly but would not go out of their way to help you. They seemed to be very money driven and insisted on charging the 12.5% extra tax even on the $20 hostelworld deposit. The best thing was the shower which had 6 extra nozzles which squirted water straight at...
