On the seafront there are plenty of bars and restaurants and just behind there are great little shops filled with jewellary and knick knacks. Naxos isnt as lively as Santorini either and when we travelled (May) it was mainly full of Greeks. Saturday night was probably a bit quiet for our liking. However this island is still worth a visit. Apparently diving and other water sports are very popular here.close

The people were great, the food was great, the bars were great. It was nice to find a place that made me feel at home after being on the road for more than a month with a month to go. I can't wait to go back! There is no shortage of night time activities - there are places to sit and chill out and there are club to dance at.close

    Panos ,the owner of the pension, says it's not hotel business that they are running, it is family business:) we felt like real guests in this lovely pension, i definetely recommend it to other travellers. Happy travelling:)

    The hotel was beautiful and clean and only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I suggest that you take a cab from the port because if you do not know the area, it can take a while. It is a 5- 10 min walk to the city centre. I recommend staying there if you ever go to Naxxos.
