2. Shimaya Ryokan 94%      

   Gorgeous place very near the temple, easy to find, incredibly clean, and a lovely couple running it. We really enjoyed it here and booked in for extra nights.

   This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I have yet visited: staff who will bend over backwards in order to make sure your stay is as pleasant as can be, a fantastic price, and the most picturesque location. I don:t know why you would go to Japan and not stop here.

5. Kamesei Ryokan 91%      

   A warm friendly family atmosphere, with a great traditional Japanese feel. The onsens are wonderfull and I recommend the meals..a great experience.
