A reminder to guests arriving on an EARLY MORNING flight--you will need to a) book your accommodation from the night before if you want to check in as soon as you arrive, and b) let us know that you are arriving outside Reception hours. LOCATION: 20 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport and 15 minutes drive from Lautoka city. (Sorry but we are not walking distance to Nadi or Lautoka towns!) A peaceful and secluded retreat for the independent traveller, Saweni Beach Apartment Hotel is located on the only white sand beach in the Nadi/Lautoka area. The perfect place to get away from it all, Saweni Beach was the staging area for the ocean-kayaking leg of the 2002 Eco-Challenge Fiji expedition race. IMPORTANT! Saweni is a 20 minute drive to Nadi--you cannot walk to Nadi town from here! Please also note that due to Saweni's secluded and quiet location, this property is not recommended for people looking for a party scene (ie Saweni is NOT a party hostel). ACCOMMODATION Saweni offers a choice of air-conditioned or fan-cooled apartments, or a spacious domritory, all with modern kitchens and daily maid service. All accommodations have been recently renovated, are bright, clean and spacious, and offer quality accommodations at very reasonable rates. Apartments: 12 self-contained 1-bedroom apartments (either fan-cooled or with air-conditioned bedrooms), each with ceiling fans and insect screens, large separate bedroom with queen-sized or twin-beds,lounge/dining area, kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and utensils, private bathroom with solar hot water, and spacious verandah. Linen and maid service are provided. Dormitory: 2 dorm rooms, each with 4 beds, sharing a large communal kitchen, living area and bathroom. In addition, all apartments have kitchens and cooking facilities, offering guests the option of self-catering. We sell basic supplies in our mini-market (including beer and other alcoholic drinks) and you can also stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables and groceries in the local markets or supermarkets in Nadi or Lautoka. CHECk IN TIME: is 3 pm on day of arrival. If you are arriving on an early morning flight, you will need to book from the night before, and the night security guard will be able to check you in after hours. Reception Hours: Our reception desk is open 7 am to 10 pm daily. Arrangements can be made for after hours check in provide dguest has booked from thw night before and advised us of after-hours arrival time.
