I was not told when booking that you do not receive a key to your room and that rooms are just left open. An Irish guys camera got stolen and they still think it's appropriate to leave the doors open. Food was good for value and it's good that you can leave Smugglers Coves facilities.

Internet down, no drop off at the airport, restaurant expensive. If you don't book a tour over them, you don't get anything for free (e.g. internet, pay phone, luggage store)! For the 5 nights get one free deal, you have to book directly over them!!!). But very secure, police station nearby,...

Not at all located close to beautiful beaches and scenery. Ugly swimmingpool with alot of old leaves in it. Uglyer beach. Nothing to do in this place. Restaurant on groundfloor is ok. Rooms were smelly and unclean. Dont stay here more then one night, then take a bout out to the smaller Fijian...

bed bugs. yet again. but other than that the hostels nice and good value for money with the pool and all. good entertainment 3 times a week, but location wasnt very central to anything.

Food was priced pretty average for Fiji but was nothing special. The internet was painfully slow, when working. All in all not a good place to start my journey.close

The hostel is situated 50 yards from the beach & has a lovely pool. The staff were very friendly & helpful in planning trips around the island. The rooms were clean but the bath & toilet mats were a bit grubby. Although meals were cheap the quality was rather disappointing

Great hostel as the pool and bar are really nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Beach isnt so nice though and is located half way between the airport and Nadi though still very accessible.

Only stay here for a night 2 max - as after that there is nothing to do. The staff don't want to know and were not helpful with trips etc. I stayed 3 nights and my single room wasn't cleaned once!!

I liked the people who were staying at the hostel, and it is very easy to do different tours and activities out of the hostel. But the beach is very disappointing. Also I found the staff overall satisfactory but at some times they could be unhelpful. I had a great time at the Horizon, they did so much for us backpacker. The location is 10 min from Nadi airport but I never heard any planes & the bus in to Nadi is very intressted. Its worth the money, the restaurant is super.

Its close to the airport, you get picked up from there free of charge the rooms are ok, the staff very friendly, food you can buy is great value and of a good standard and place is a good place to arrange trips to other parts of Fiji ( which the travel centre there help you with). The only downsides are that the local beach is not what you expect a Fijian beach to be and apart from Nadi (which is only a days mooching really) there is not much to do.Oh and the "swimming pool" is not really like the photos suggest!! But overall if your coming in after a ten hour flight dont fancy a two or three or drive and want somewhere near the airport as a base before you sort out trips to other islands or resorts this is ideal.Id definatly use it like that again, but no more than a night or two.close

I stayed at horizon for four nights and it is a good place to stay, I was in the big mixed dorm, not a good place for a lay in though as people are generally are in transit in this hostel and get up early!! The food is really nice and the bar isn't over priced and the staff are friendly.

Bathroom facilities in the dorm let it down, much worse than the Smuggler's Cove next door, which was only slightly more expensive. Tai and the Kavaholics are awesome though - its Kava Time!!!!

the hostel was ok for one or two nights,the food was nice but expensive. but i booked a day tour through them and i was told i would be collected and was not!and when we went on the island trip we were told we would be dropped to the door of the hostel and the bus dropped us at a different hotel...

Rooms were clean but walls very thin and was very noisey no hot water unless you got up in the middle of the night. Was silly and got the upgraded room with sky and fridge, fridge was even turned on and sky was only 1 channel cheaper accomation next door. Not on beach front. But helpful staff in...

THE ONLY REAL DOWNSIDE TO THIS RESORT WAS THE FACT THAT THERE WERE NO KITCHEN FACILITIES AT ALL. MOST BACKPACKERS CANNOT AFFORD TO EAT AT THE RESTAURANT EVERY NIGHT.

It's Fiji - so for arriving in Nadi or leaving, this hostel is one of the best deals to stay in. it's cheap, have a decent restaurant, clean. the light breakfast sucks but i would stay there again for a night.
