Stunning place - the pool area is amazing. Shame we weren't there in better weather. Not in centre of town, but easy enough to get to.

due to ferry mixup we arrived at 2am. when we phoned they did everything to make sure we could get to our room - brilliant service. wonderful swimming pool, rooms clean and comfortable. (nb: 10 mins to town/port, but steep!)

We were greeted with a layer of pubic hair on the floor, and the cleaning crew seemed to merely redistribute them with their mop. Martin the bartender was helpful in showing us to our room. Just don't expect him to help with your bags. For the amount of money we paid we expected a lot more. But the pool was pretty sweet.close

The instructions for getting there are not very accurate! We walked around for a long time trying to find the place. I suggest a taxi from the start off. The place is also up a hill on the real outskirts of Mykonos Town. Good service though and great pool.

Good spot ontop of the hill overlooking the marina, and great pool area. Staff weren't as helpful as we had found in other areas but was still adequate. Location was just a 15min stroll to the town centre and/or 5 Euro taxi.

Great pool with bar. Room was nice with a kitchenette. It is about a 15 minute walk in to town down a hill. Buses to Paradise beach leave from the town.

DO NOT WALK FROM THE PORT TO THE HOSTEL! It is very far and all uphill! Good place to stay but if you are going to Mykonos to party, don't stay here because the trek up that huge hill at 8am is horrendous!

the pool and bar with the view of the ocean are to die for! but don't leave your stuff laying about outside our hotel room - things go walking in the night ... i'm guessing drunken anticS! no malice!

Amazing view, and relatively close to the town of Mykonos. Unfortunately, the room smelled very smoky. I liked the hotel overall...the pool is absolutely the best part of the hotel. The pool is one of the best ones I have ever seen...so great!

This hotel is so nice I'm surprised it's on HostelWorld. However, the hotel is so far away, so we had to take a taxi every time we left the hotel. Whether we had to go to the beach, dinner, the port, Mykonos town, we had to get a taxi. It was about 5 euros every taxi ride. Great view...

The pool was beautiful, and the rooms were big - we had a room for four and it didn't feel crowded at all. The walk into the town is definitely do-able in 10-15 minutes, but it is very steep.

A wonderful place, some walk to get down to the town, but it is a nice walk during the day...but i don't suggest climbing back the hill up to the Pension. It is the best stay we had in our summer Europe trip. Thanks for making it such a beautiful place for us to stay.

Directions a bit misleading - not all rooms have kitchenettes or balconies, so make sure you ask for that.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in so far. Great pool with a view and good rooms with Kitchenette attached for cooking own food. TV reception in rooms is average.

A great place to stay. Gorgeous pool area. Nice big rooms. About 500m walk from centre of town, but plenty of room to park your hire scooter!

Good place to stay when in the high season. DO NOT GO HERE WHEN IT IS NOT THE HIGH SEASOM FOR MYKONOS!!!! There is nothing to do, its cold and you will be bored.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The one bad thing is is that it is a ways from the town. The staff was very willing to help. However, Mykonos is deserted in March and would not suggest going at this time.

If you're looking for a comfort (aircon and TV) or just a quiet place to chill out by the pool Pension Matina is preemo. However if you're there for the restaurants, nightlife, clubs and beaches you're probably better of staying on the other side of the island near Platis Gialos and Paradise.
