The 1 litre beer is really the best part =) I was there for like... 5 times? There's quite alot!close

Very "tourist" place... Food and beer are ok, but very expensive. Go there for the warm atmosphere, typical of Munich's "beer houses".

The historic beer hall on the first floor of the building is considered the heart of the Hofbräuhaus, although the ground floor is a great place too with tables and benches for 8 people. The food is very good, the Meatloaf with homemade potato salad worth trying! The beer is great as well, the one liter beer-mugs are very popular; the traditionally dressed waiters and waitresses carry 5-6 of these mugs at a time! In the center of the public beer hall is a music podium where a brass band plays traditional music, it is a bit loud but it creates a brilliant atmosphere!close
