Location great for Octoberfest site and Augustiner beer hall and garden, bit of a walk or tram ride to city sites. Wi-fi in rooms didn't work while we were there. Computer with internet available in lobby, so all ok. Breakfast was excellent and free!

The hotel had well equiped bedrooms with very comfortable beds. On one morning, there was no hot water and I was unable to have a shower which was not good but this was sorted. The main problem was how hot the rooms were. I would have preferred air conditioning to be present.

I previously stayed at Pension Floral, paid a higher price, and possibly had an item taken from my room. Hotel Kurpfalz was in an amazing location, about 10 minutes walking from the main station. It's an AMAZING value and I plan on coming back to the beautiluf rooms and the great location.

Very helpful and friendly staff. A bit of a walk into town, but it is nice to get out of the centre. The breakfasts are fantastic. The rooms comfortable. Would recommend this as a place to stay.

Really nice breakfast. A bit noisy - the walls seemed quite thin so you could hear noise from the corridor and outside.

This hostel was by far the best (and cheapest) that I stayed at while travelling around europe for three weeks. The rooms are clean, uniquely characterized and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a walk from the downtown area but the price and atmosphere make it worth the trip.

It was good accommodation and oood breakfast provided. Location was average because it is a little too far out of the city for easy walking but is fairly easily accessed from the public transport system.

From our room, we were able to get a great wireless connection by sticking the laptop next to the windows sill. However, the staff here are jerks. We accidently booked twice due to a bad internet connection whence we emailed to cancel. She would not believe this until we'd actually shown her the email. She was quite rude about this. Also, for a modern hotel, we would have expected there to be facilities for payment via plastic card. Cash only. This is compounded by the fact that the deposit was automatically subtracted from our credit account.close

pretty nice place. only problem is that the cleaning staff will come to clean your room very early in the morning and might just leave your door wide open while the leave.

The rooms were clean and modern, and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped - a very good sign, I've seen some horrific bathrooms in too many other hostels and hotels. The breakfast was good, offering omlette, bacon, as well as german meats (salami etc) and cheeses, seemingly unlimited coffee, tea, orange juice etc. The location is ok, a 10 minute walk from Haputbanhof (main train station) and there are two tram lines from just around the corner if you don't feel like walking (connects to subway etc. there) My only concern was one night we arrived back pretty late (4.30am), the front door to the hotel was unlocked and it appeared as if the staff had all gone to bed, and our key was just sitting on the counter at reception (we were obviously the last ones back!) - though there is no curfew, at least we were able to get to our rooms. All in all though, very good value. If you're expecting the Ritz, pay the price but if you want budget accommodation here you'll find high quality, clean rooms with a good breakfast included in the price (breakfast 7-10am)close

Absolutely wonderful! Amazing for such a low price - massive breakfast buffet, good sized rooms and really modern design. Hotel bar is sweet - a couple of sofas by reception. If you're staying in Munich on a budget stay here! We were amazed
