I made the reservation 6 months in advance and had no trouble adding another person 1 month prior to arriving. Plus, the little old man who worked the front desk was the sweetest, friendliest, most informative and helpful hotel employee ever! We all wanted to be adopted by him!close

The location was pretty good for the price, but there are other hotels in the area for the same price that are a little more comfortable.

Large room in an excellent location in Munich. Minutes from the train station. I would say the best in the area for the price.

Located right outside the inner downtown ring. Great location! Walking distance to everything. Kind management. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect! We arrived very early (7am) and the front desk manager allowed us to check in as soon as a clean room was available (9am) for no extra charge. We were VERY pleased. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main train station and maybe a 7 minute walk to the Munich city center.... more This place was perfect! Grocery store right across the street was nice for snacks. Nice, omplimentary breakfast in the mornings too. Would DEF. stay again!close

My only complaint is that the free internet didn´t work my entire stay. The free breakfast was great, as was the location, just a short walk from the train station and 10 minute walk to the center of town (Marienplatz). I recommend it!

When I arrived in Munich I was upset to find that they had no reservations on file. The older gentlemen running the front desk was overwhelmed at the time because he had another couple that had booked through Expedia. He kept telling them to deal with Expedia so I dont know the whole story behind... more When I arrived in Munich I was upset to find that they had no reservations on file. It looked like a great place to stay but lousy records systems from what I saw...close

Great hotel, huge rooms, very clean, very close to train station and downtown - you can walk almost everywhere, would stay here again without question.

This place although more expensive than a "hostel" it was worth the extra $$$. The Hotel Deutsches Theater Downtown Munich is an actual hotel, not some run down stinky hostel that you are scared to sleep in the beds for fear of catching something. The room was very clean, you get free... more This place although more expensive than a "hostel" it was worth the extra $$$. The Hotel Deutsches Theater Downtown Munich is an actual hotel, not some run down stinky hostel that you are scared to sleep in the beds for fear of catching something. The room was very clean, you get free sodas in the fridge and the bed was really comfortable. The only issue was that there is a theater next door and they were doing the play Cats and the stage crew was cleaning up at 1am until we checked out, so we didn't get much sleep our last night.close

This is a full service hotel which has two rooms, one is the boardroom turn into a bedrrom with two coat beds and another is the attic with another two beds with the bathroom where the other room which is located in the first floor has to use and the build has six floors, but anyways great...
