The staff is very helpful and friendly-- even to English speakers! Location is great and the bathrooms were comfortably clean. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Would not stay here again. It was dingy looking and the only good part was how close it is to the main station, the bar on the bottom floor and the one complimentary beer. Do not recommend it unless you have absolutely no where else to stay or the only thing you care about is being close to the...

BAD: The shared rooms have just one key each and that's a big inconvenience. The rooms lack some facilities such as individual lamps for each bed. GOOD: The location is excellent. Sheets and towels are provided. There's a bar and breakfast restaurant attached.

Excellent location! Couldnt get any better. no lockers. only 3 showers on each floor with about 50+ beds and 1 toilet, but wasnt problem. staff nice. would recommend for location

Excellent hostel -- The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was large and bright, with a very comfy bed. The bathrooms are a little old, but overall, it was a very lovely place to stay, especially since it was so located directly across the street from the main train/subway...

Location is unbeatable, being that close to the Hbf but with it brings sounds and other sorts of irritance, but in general a decent place for the kind of money you're looking at spending~

Really close to the train station with a small bar and restaurant. Only one key for the whole room. Make sure to leave the key downstairs so you don't have to let people in. We had a bathroom in our room. The staff is nice and they have good ideas for stuff to do. Overall a good place to...

Only really went back to this place to sleep at night but my room was deadset like a hotel room - excellent facilities. Not sure what it's like for meeting other travellers, it does have a bar area but looks a little small. Either way go to the Hofbrauhaus for a good start to the night.

it was negative not to have a room key for every person, but a single key per room. It compelled us to leave the door open all night until everyone was in, or anytime someone went to the shared bathroom

Excellent location, within walking distance to the city center and the Bahnhoff, definitely quiter than the district around the Bahnhoff, staff sensitive to needs, a decent place to stay in.

Just opposite the main train station. However, you need to place the room keys at the reception, even it's for a single room. And it seems to be very easy for one to get the room keys... so I'm not sure whether it's safe. And it seems a little too pricey for what you get.

We got a 2 bed suite and it was perfect. Don't plan on sleeping much when there is a soccer match going on cuz of the noise, but its Germany!!! you will probably be drunk

Price was room was very good. Location was outstanding...right next to main train station. Would have preferred individual lockers in each room, but separate locked luggage room was a decent alternative. Staff was helpful and hotel was clean. Would recommend to fellow travelers.

RIGHT outside the Hauptbahnhoff, perfect location. Near Marienplatz. It's two metro stops away, but short walk. No need to take metro. Staff was great - upgraded our room at no charge when we had a problem with ours.

Decent place, very close to Hauptbahnhof. Staff was helpful. Only one key per room, so brace yourself. Have to pay for breakfast. Central bathrooms/showers per floor. Would recommend to a friend and stay there again.

It was clean. I thought I booked a 6 bed mixed room but when I got there I was in a 4 bed mixed. It was so close to the train station. It was a good location but a little bit run-down. The beds were clean. There were no lockers to lock your stuff in.

the front desk asked us to go to an information booth when we asked for something ?! who does that? if you are a hotel stationed right in the middle of the city, how could you tell your paying customers to go elsewhere for information??? lady who works outside on the patio is very slow and...
