The biggest advantage of this hostel is the location. Easy to find it from Central Train Station and access to other public transportation like tram. Rooms clean. Good breakfast. But it opens at 7:00am every morning. You will have some problem if you have a very early train to catch.

I was surprised that there weren't any lockers -or other secure storage devices- to put one's luggage in. Apparently they will store some important things behind the desk, though, and in any case I didn't have anything stolen.

Nothing special but the staff is really friendly and its only a 5-10 minute walk into town (and it really is only about 5 minutes from the train station)

Best pillows and comforters I had in eastern Europe. Was shocked that I was locked in the building when attempting to leave before 7am one morning, but didnt understand securty policy.

Probably the BEST place I stayed during my two weeks in Germany. Not necessarily the nicest, but for the money, hey, it was a great deal. The lobby is nice and clean. The only inconvenience would be to wait for the shower in the morning when everybody else wakes up too. Definitely would stay there again if I go back to Munich. Tip: if you are a member of YMCA (USA-worldwide), you get a discount too.close
