We arrived and were told there were no double bed rooms, so we were given a room with 3 twin beds, a broken door, and no soap in the bathroom. Easily the worst lodging experience I have ever had.

Room was fine with ensuite. Location OK but in the red light area. No atmosphere. Average staff but good room. Fine for a place to sleep.

The room is okay considering the price, however isn't really somewhere to take your girlfriend. The few surrounding restaurants are poor, so I'd advise grabbing breakfast from Haupbahnhof, then eating before you come back for the night!close

Although thankfully the following day when I taked to the Pension staff I was informed that they had made a mistake in my room allocation and to compensate for the mix up where moving me to a double beded ensuite room (with added security) for the remainder of my stay. Otherwise everything was fine, even though the Pension is located in one of Munich's more colourful districts.close

The hostel is only two blocks from the main train station. This is very convenient. However to get there, you had to pass several adult stores and strip clubs. This was very off putting. Therefore we spent very little time there.

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms particularly - often a concern in hostels! A low fun rating is actually an advantage for us as we are only interested in SLEEP at hostels and high fun often equals high noise, so give me peace over fun any day!

The shower handle was also broken off and having a 1kg shower handle attempt to fall on your foot at 6am isnt very fun. It took 10 minutes for the hot water to actually run. There is no elevator to get up to any of the rooms so if you have heavy luggage this isnt recommended. The carpet was dirty and filled with grit, there were handprints in dirt on our walls. The beds were nice and comfortable and that was a good thing about the room. The sheets were also clean. The actual location itself is a different story. We were stuck in the "Red Light" discrict, surrounded by strip clubs, sex shops and prostitutes at night. That caused us to not sleep well due to us waking up at 3am to the clicking of some girls heels EXTREMELY LOUDLY. I would not reccomend this room to anyone honestly. It was 42 degrees and not at all a comfortable stay. There was no air condition nor fan at all. THE HOST WAS VERY VERY NICE keep in mind. He proudly fixed and accomodated everything for us.close

It's an OK pension, although, i think it's a bit overpriced for this quality. Location is couple blocks away from the main station, makes it really convenient. And it's a short walk to the Old Town area which is nice. Staff is very nice and helpful.
