Everything is just great! A short walk from station and a good view of Mt.Fuji from common bathroom. Just a few things to note; the front door is locked up after 11 p.m., and there's no lift but it's ok 'coz only 3 floors max.

Great onsen with a view of Mt Fuji! The manager speaks English. The dorms are very spacious and with lots of room for your baggage. Free internet and coffee. Great value.

I was extremely satisfied with our stay at the hostel. The location was perfect as was the view. The hostel had everything we wanted and I particularly enjoyed the hot spa. A very Japanese feel in an idyllic location.

Good location near the station. Clean dorms with japanese style decoration. You could hear the music fom the pedestrian crossing outside - 4 months later I still can't get it out of my head....

About 10 min. walk to Kawaguchi-ko Lake. Traditional japaneese style room with tatami and TV. Hot water and tea was ready in our room. Free WIFI was working perfectly. Shared toilet western style and clean. Traditional hot bath (quite big) on the top floor was fine and relaxing. Minor negative: there is a noisy semaphore which plays one song all round and it becomes very soon annoying, but at least during the night it was quiet.close

Very close to the station which is great for those with heavy bags, and also just a 5-10min walk to the lake. The Japanese style rooms are very spacious and wonderful value for money! Convenience stores and restaurants also nearby.

The only gripe is that there's this insanely irritating melody playing in the traffic lights near the Inn during daytime. I give this place five stars (out of five)close

more a hotel than a hostel but with a few dorm style rooms which make it worth the few dollars to stay. a good base camp for climbing fuji and a good place to sleep afterwards.

Nice clean Japanese style room, right opposite railway station! Helpful staff, who will saw your climbing staff in bits for transport if you like! If you are a bit shy you might not like the fact that the washing facilities are communal Japanese onsen-style baths, but it suited me just fine!

Beyond the run-down building exterior and interior hallways lay a beautiful, clean hostel smelling of tatami. The communal bath was a unique experience, and the staff was warm and helpful.

The support and service I recieved was top notch and for the price, absolutely can not be beat. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower/onsen was available and kept nice through the entire stay, and I was allowed to relax in the provided lounge when I had long waits between busses. Computers were also easy to access and could be used for as long as neccessary.close

A good guesthouse, for sure! Dormitories are basic, but wait till you saw the bathroom! It is not only clean, it is also a typicall japanese bath, with the extremely hot bath and large windows showing you the snow falling and if you are lucky enough, Mt Fuji itself! Breakfast is not included but...
