Pension Cosmos

Pension Cosmos is a friendly, family-run pension located in a quiet village of similar owner operated pensions on the Northern side of Lake Kawaguchiko. We are only a minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Walking trails lead down to the lake (30 min) and offer a popular way to exercise while taking in the scenic beauty of the Lake and Mount Fuji. The pension will be an ideal base for climbing Mt. Fuji. We offer delicious home cooking with friendly service. There is a wireless LAN network in the building, and for those without a laptop computer we set up a computer for guests to use free of charge. With only 6 rooms, we are able to provide personal services. We offer an outdoor Japanese style bath. Guests are free to use this 24 hours a day and use is private and free of charge. The water is natural hot spring water from Kawaguchiko Onsen hot spring and is a warm 41 degrees. For groups (4 or more), we are happy to come and pick you up from Kawaguchiko Station, while we ask individual traveler's to catch a bus to our location. We cannot pick up between 5PM and 8PM as we are serving dinner during this time.
