Agadir is not what I expected. It didn\'t do anything for me at all. The locals were always trying to make a quick buck and after a while it gets tiring. You can stay along the main strip but its just like any other resort then. Venture into the older part of town and there is no atmostphere. Marrackech, even though the sellers were the same, had so much more. If you like a little bit of adventure skip Agadir and go to Marrakech. If you want to sit by the pool or beach go here, it will be nothing new but you will get a tan

The place was okay. Prices are a bit high for what and where it is, but the restaurant was okay, and if you are taking a bus onward to Marrakesh or Casablanca, etc., it IS close to the bus TICKETING area. You will need to take a cab to the actual station though.

Despite -- of because of -- the lack of tourists here, Casa (as it is affectionately known to the locals and the more pretentious visitors) is actually quite a cool little place to hang out, sip sugary mint tea on terraces and watch the locals in their native habitat.

The city is a little bit dirty and smelly in places, but it has tons of character. Great prices for food, souvenirs, etc. The Hassan II mosque is really cool, even going to the cheesy Rick's Cafe was fun.
