Why go there? well if you're interested in environmental issues, entimology, or anthropology you can actually learn a lot from the creapy crawlies. Apparently you can also eat them: once a year the insectarium holds a gourmet bug tasting event [I'm serious], where about 25, 000 people come and have a taste of deliciously bug bites prepped up by reputable local chefs! 9h to 6h, close to metro Viau, or Pie IX - see mapclose
