A great location - right in the middle of the Latin Quarter on Rue St. Denis. Great value for money. A few tips on housekeeping. Please have the bedside lamp connected. There is a lamp but unfortunately no socket. Hector was a great host during breakfast.

Much better than I expected and a good value for such a nice location, right on Saint-Denis with a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. My only complaint is that I couldn't get a private room with only one bed. I could only get a double just for myself and so I had to pay for 2. But even so, it was still a good deal for the location, cleanliness, and politeness / helpfulness of the staff.close

This is a good place for staying in the heart of montreal! But one guy of the stuff is not pretty kindly and not able to express hisself pretty eloquently too.

I loved the location as it was walking distance to the Metro and many good restaurants. There was no internet as promised and one of the young men does not speak English which could be a problem if you do not speak French. Other than that I loved it and will definitely stay there again

We were in town for the comedy festival, and this was right in the middle of everything. Friendly staff, and clean, pleasant room. Would stay there again!

Great staff. Staying in this hostel is a choice of a classy hotel like experiance over a social loud hostel.

The location is fabulous, blocks away from all the action and steps from tons of street cafes and restaurants. The breakfast offered was a nice surprise, they have hot croissants, cereal, OJ and coffee every single morning. All in all, we will definitelly stay here again, and would highly recommend the hotel to any budget traveler that wishes a bit more than the traditional mixed 8-10 bed dorm.close

Good rooms if you require a desk and there is free internet access. Fun area, although the place itself is more like a hotel than a hostel.

E.g. we asked for an iron (we already had an ironing board) three times before getting it. The room was clean, new and had a good airconditioner and lots of storage space. The area was fun - lots of restaurants and bars, the comedy festival was nearby but there were lots of homeless people begging which became annoying.close

Excellent place for couples. Not a hostel in the sense of 17-18 year old running around drinking. Location is amazing, staff friendly and breakfast is included. I highly recommend this place.

Rooms are small but have all the necessary bits. Breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. Well positioned up the road from the metro and located on busy St Denis with many great places to dine within a few minutes walking time. Would definitely stay there again!

The pillows are a little flat, but other than that it was a very comfortable, relaxed, quiet place to sleep. I was really surprised at how quiet it was, given it's amazing location! Two blocks away from a main metro stop, Berri-UQAM, and right in the centre of things in the Quartier Latin. Highly recommend!close

As a hostel, you have missed the point - the room facilities basic enough , but the communal kitchen area was well below standard. As a hotel, the staff were always unavailable, and nothing was explained to us. The air-conditioning was stuck on full blow cold fan day and night. The staff mamber I asked about this was no help so i had the radiator heating on full to compensate. That will cost you a lot of money in heating bills! However, the location is excellent.close

Good place for the money. About $55 US per person for a private room with own bathroom and mini-kitchen. The location is the best thing about this place. Two blocks from the main metro stop Berri-UQAM and Rue St. Catherine. Motif is very modern and elegant. Room looked liked the inside of IKEA.
