Nice place, but a little different. Large dorm room was ok, but would be very noisy if fully booked.

Das Hostel ist recht nett, nur die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig, sowohl im Zimmer selbst als auch im Bad und am WC.

It was a great Prize for great place!!! It was a bit cold so make sure to bring warm pajamas. It's a cool. open place and it's easy to meet new people because of the set up. but if you are a person that absolutely needs privacy then i wouldn't recommend it, unless you get a private suite. But...

great staff and funky air mattresses which make a bit of noise but a quiet place to stay in the old town. Le Sous Bois is the sister hostel and a cooler place to hang out

Staff weren't there to check me in, or out, or at any point. It seems communication is entirely by telephone. My room, while comfortable, had a lot of traffic noise and burned-out lightbulbs. The location was great and the building was OK, but the complete lack of staff was weird.

There was a bit of confusion around rooms. It may be the HostelWorld website that's causing confusion. Naming the rooms on the confirmation would solve this problem. The hostel ran out of toilet paper at one point and that was pretty annoying.

This hostel has great character! If you are a light sleeper, you may find the noise on St.Paul to be bothersome, because there is a club across the street. It is fairly clean, although you may find random tools here and there. The staff is wonderful, & in beautiful old montreal - I quite...

It was very cheap but unfortunatly it was very dirty, noisy, the kitchen was so bad and it is hard to take a rest during the day (there is not enough place to do that).

-We stayed in the private rooms as we have our young infant and they were nice and comfortable. - Breakfast was somewhat feeble with just bread and jam (no bread the first day) there was cereal but no milk. Good places to eat around there though. -location is fantastic!

The sleeping situation was fine, I was in a private room... My only complaint is about the toilets; the one upstairs had no soap and the tap in the sink didn't work, the one downstairs had running water in the sink but again no soap.
