For our short stay and little group of 4, this place was perfect. We would come again to Montreal and this is where we would stay. We loved it :)

GREAT. JAK the owner, was so generous - we didn't arrive until 1:15am, he met us with a smile and even took the time to go over maps/parking/restaurants with us so late! Location is fantastic on St. Catherine; ate at 5 delicious restaurants within a few minutes walk and it's extremely quiet so we... more

Good location but room was disappointingly small. The ceiling was quite low and you could have easily have had a nasty accident with the fan directly above the bed (which you had to sign a waiver for upon check in). Despite the good location though, it was a bit overpriced for what you were... more

Simply put: The best hostel ive stayed at. It is located in the heart of Montreal on St. Catherine, if you want to go out at night no cabs are needed... most of the good clubs and bars are walking distance away. "Jak", the operator of the hostel is one of the nicest ppl you meet and... more

It was truly unbelievable that for a three night stay, our sheets were never changed, towels not replaced and the suite was never cleaned. For $100/night, one should expect at least some level of service. It was also cumbersome to check in or out as there was no 24 hour check-in and the owner... more

Even though we had a private room, there was little privacy in this hostel. Check-in happened inside our room, due to there being no office in the hostel. The rooms are so close together that other guests can hear your conversations when they are in the hallway. It is JUST a room- no common... more

We had a very nice stay in Inn Tourist in Montreal, due to a very cordial and understanding welcoming. The view from our terrace gave us the possibility of taking interesting pictures and we were at a walking distance from any relevant place to visit. So we would suggest this place to our friends.

No telephone, no common area. Small rooms and outrageous prices for what you get during peak times in Montreal. It was right downtown so if you have never been to Montreal and don't know how to get around this place is great. Other than that I would not stay there again.
