The staff were all fantastic and were very very helpful with everything. However one bathroom for an entire 10 bed dorm room was not enough at all...

Awesome property, friendly knowledgable staff, right in downtown, 4-5min walk from Ice Hockey stadium, organized activities every night, ensuite bathrooms, absolutely tops, highly recommend staying here.

Very nice hostel, super friendly staff, good bar in the basement (a bit noisy but I guess that is normal). I would definitey recommend it to somebody exploring Montreal for the first time.

it was a great place to stay at...not too far from the metro or the sights and it was a nice place to hang out for dinner and to relax

Actually when I got off from the subway, I thought it's very dangerous place;D But this hostel was so nice! Very nice staffs, clean room and great bed! I have nothing to complain, just keep it for long!!! Thanks~!

Whereas other hostels might describe themselves as "funky" or "full of character" HI-Montreal, Auberge de Jeunesse, offers a comfortable stay and a friendly atmosphere. You can't go wrong here, the place was solid and towels were included.

The hostel is only 3 minutes work from subway station and 10 minutes walk from Central Train Station, it is easy to locate. I don't usually like HI hostels but this one is the exception. With activities to do everynight and a perfect location close to some great bars it's a perfect way to experience montreal.

We had a great stay. The private room almost felt like a hotel with ensuite bathroom, pictures, plant and a TV in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. excellent quality for the our money.

Wouldnt accept our brand new HI card from Europe and the room was really hot with creaky beds. Pub crawl was fun.

Friendly staff, clean room with towels and sheets provided (doesn't it suck when you have to pay extra to rent those?), and the best breakfast I've ever had in a hostel (reasonably priced too) made this a great experience. I would definitely book here again if I were to return to Montreal!

ALL of the people staffing the desk were pleasant and extremely helpful. There was a parking lot half a block away and the metro station half a block away in the opposite direction.
