Location a big far from the metro, hard if you have big luggage! No lift too. The room is small and you can hear noise from outside the room. But the staff are super friendly and helpful! The breakfast is great with the free home-made crossiants and capuccino. Hotel with strong character.

Apart from 1 person who was lovely, the staff were poor and resentful of people staying there. The air conditioning didn't work and there was a big mould problem in the bathroom. No double-glazing meant that road noise was very loud.

surprisingly close to the Central Station, however having arrived after dark and without Italian I overpaid for a taxi. A simple 10 minute walk. Lovely friendly atmosphere, willing to chat and do their best for you.

I belived that the hotel was in close proximity to Milan Centrale (walking distance) - 10 Euro taxi ride. This may have been easier to identify if I was more familiar with Milan... I wouldn't stay at this hotel again for personal safety reasons. Credit to the staff; very hospitable, informative and took care of my basic requests.close
