An Stór is a friendly, family-run hostel in the heart of East Cork, where Frank and Maria will ensure the highest standard of comfort and service in this lively town of Midleton. The hostel was recently extended and can provide single, double, twin, family rooms and dormitory accommodation, all ensuite. You can choose to cook in the self-catering kitchen, or avail of the service in our new dining room. The hostel is within minute's walk of the main street, buses, shops and restaurants. The tourist facilities include golf, horse riding, Jameson Whiskey Centre, FotaHouse and Wildlife Park, and more are all a short drive away, or accessible by bus or train. Cork city is 20k to the west of the town and easily accessible on the N25.

This was an amazing place to stay! The owners were very helpful and extremely nice. It is VERY clean and spacious. The sheets and towels were so clean and smelled very fresh. The hostel is also close to the center of town. It is a very welcoming place. I would definitely recommend it. It is one...

Staff was so kind to us and helped us with directions and places to go. We were a little surprised at how far away it was from Cork, but we enjoyed our time in the little town a lot. A good place for a day or night, but I wouldn't stay much longer.

Clean, fresh bedding is a nice way to fall asleep. Staff were wonderful and so anxious to make sure that we were comfortable and cared for. Just a wonderful happy place to stay.

Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended. Only uncomfortable thing was using the kitchen where it seemed other people using it were unable to engage in casual conversation. Otherwise simply excellent.

The hostel is in need of a better bicycle parking. They could add some lockers too. It's a clean and nice hostel with great common areas
