Would\'nt use the Key West Express again as they failed to let us know they would\'nt be sailing that day untill we arrived at the port!! Very poor service, wasted money and time. Try to venture to the keys. Key west was amazing. Thank you to the guy at the Greyhound down town station in miami he was great. Bus transport isn\'t great but cheap.close

WOW! What a city... unless you are NOT a fan of great weather, beautiful beaches, amazing food, varied culture and in general, all things beautiful, you will love Miami. What a city... unless you are NOT a fan of great weather, beautiful beaches, amazing food, varied culture and in general, all things beautiful, you will love Miami. I came to Miami because it was on this year's Top "it" sports according to Conde Naste and I couldn't agree more. Miami is constantly re-inventing itself, and since the last time I was here, it amazing how much it has changed, while still maintaining that Miami Heat. The everglades are one of the top 10 natural wonders of the world, Art Basel is the single biggest art festival in the WORLD, the newly developed Design District is the only place in America where furniture as art is exhibited in the open, and if you love Food, well so of the best food festivals in the world happen right in South Beach. Check out Fratelli La Buffala, right from Naples, Italy, these four brothers serve up the best Pizza this side of the Atlantic. China Grill is a Miami classis, the Big Pink, Tapas Y Tinto, The Blue Door, Nemo, Prime 112, Joe's Stonecrab, etc., combine for an amzing variety in food and at a variety of budgets. Are you into Greek food or culture, then Taverna OPA is a must... that is unless you don't like dancing on tables, eating amazing Greek food and breaking plates! Yup, they break plates there and screem out Opa! Check out Little Havana, little Haiti... and dont forget Coral Gables for that old colonial architecture and gourmet restaurants. The truth is, I could go on forever, but this time I was here for just a week and a week is hardly enough. Try coming here between Feb-May and then again in the summer... people don't realize that during low season (which is summer), you find the best deals on everything. You can even walk into Prada and as for a discount and you will get it! It's just like Will Smith said in his song, "There is no place in the world like Miami."close

Yes, it does have a hard-partying image, and that can ring true IF YOU WANT IT TO. During March especially (but during the whole of the window between Christmas and April) there are many parties, and many virbrant nights out to be had in the city's clubs and hotel bars. If however, you are a little more sedate, and are interested in local culture, then there is also plenty for you to do here. The public art and architecture is fantastic, the museums are classy, shopping is superb and away from Souith Beach, there are numerous ethnic enclaves and diverting daytrips to take your fancy. Get a good guide book and work out exactly what you want to do whilst here. Miami has something for everyone.close

For low budget meals, recommend Puerto Sagua (7th & Collins) and the deli at the market on Washington between 14th & 15th. There are also several low budget souvenir places in that area. Bottled water is high ($5 for 2L bottle).close

South Beach is known for beaches and nightlife. Nightlife can be expensive so try to budget by spending less during the day. Nightlife can be expensive so try to budget by spending less during the day. Down a few beers/shots before going out because $10 beers and $15 cocktails are normal. Everything is overpriced near the beach, walk a few blocks away from the beach and prices will drop. The Miami residents can seem a little stuck-up (they are), but there are plenty of tourists around who are actually fun to hang out with. Just enjoy the beaches during the day and party all night. You can't go wrong with that.close

The women were beautiful the music was excelllent. A real latin theme to it.
