While it's not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, it's perfect for those who want somewhere clean, warm and safe. The rooms can seem quiet dark and gloomy and they have an old fashioned feel to them. The bar is small and breakfast is ok. But as a base from which to explore the city, it is perfect. We stayed in this hotel for the beginning and end of a backpacking trip around Central America and would definitely recommend it to anyone going on this type of journey.close
