The staff were superb, extremely helpful and very very nice. The TV was a bit too loud on the first night but with earplugs its not really a ´problem. The tour to Teiothucan and Luch Libre were excellent.

I am sure there would be lots of people who would appreciate scrambled eggs without meat in it and it wouldn´t take much effort to prepare. I booked a shuttle with the hostel to Oaxaca but instead of being told that it was low season and there was a possibility that the shuttle might not run it wasn´t until that morning that I was informed it had been cancelled. I have been to friendlier hostels.close

hostel was in a great location... no bar, which can be a letdown, but they had beer for sale for cheap behind the check-in counter and ample space to sit around and read and meet others. helpful staff!

We stayed in a double room for 2 nights. The location was perfect less than 1min walking distance to the zodalo. We would stay here if we return to DF

There is a commune area with a TV but if you are not a fan of sitting in front of a tv, no way to really meet people. Otherwise it is very clean and well-located.

Slept there at the beginning and end of my stay. Overall just a good place, with everything you need. One tip: move the TV to a place where it doesn't keep the rest of the hotel awake..

Very good location and informative staff. The only problem is that it is a little too noisy and breakfast runs out far before oficial 10 am.

This place was super. I would rather go here than a regular hotel because of the great, helpful staff and the unbeatable location. The one thing you could improve on: get a toaster that works. That's it!

Great place. Excellent location and a lot more chilled out than Hostel Catedral around the corner. My only complaints was that they ran out of coffee fairly quickly in the morning and that my room key stoped working a few times.

During our stay there one of the rooms was broken into through the window that gives on the inside court. I think closing the inside stair gate would improve security a lots.

We liked the colonial charm that the hostel had. However, we found it difficult to sleep due to some very loud groups. The hostel staff did nothing to quiet down the groups even after 4:30 in the morning. The girls bathroom could have been cleaner.

For example my shoes were stolen from the dorm room and when I approached the staff they were unwilling to help. When I asked for an incident report written on letter head so that i could submit it to the police the next morning they said that it is not a service we provide. This is not acceptable, if there was a theft then the hostel should at least provide you with some evidence that the event happened so that you can make an insurance claim.close

Clean rooms, excellent location, even the dorm mates are extremely nice! A pity is that some people lack conscience and use the computer for too long. Or they should consider adding more computers... two is not quite enough

my nights were affected by noisy kids sliding on the top floor and running and shouting a lot. Is this responsibility of staff to provide some quietness to guests in private room? Otherwise, fantastic hostel!

I only stayed at this hostel one night, but it was clean, close to everything, and the staff was great! However, the hostel is HUGE, so if you're looking for a little bit of a quieter atmosphere, you might want to look elsewhere.
