Description of Hostal Montejo
Children not allowed (under 18 years old) Gay friendly (male) Located in one of the most lovely, tree-shaded, and peaceful neighborhoods in Mexico City, Hostal Montejo is within walking distance of Chapultepec Park, the green centerpiece of the city. Within this beautiful park is one of the top museums in the world - the Museo Nacional de Antropolog'a - which showcases not only the archealogical history Mexico, but the importance of pre-Columbian customs in contemporary Mexican life. Among other attractions in the park are Chapultepec Castle, a sumptuous palace that houses the Natural History Museum, the Modern Art Museum, and the City Zoo. The Polanco area near the Park is filled with fine dining, up-scale shopping, galleries, vibrant nightlife, and theater - and hotels there (just 5 blocks from the hostel) charge a minimum of $150 US per night. Near the hostel public transportation will connect you with the excellent subway system, which quickly takes you anywhere in this huge, fascinating city for just a few pesos. The Paseo Reforma, and the fabulous historical center of the city with it's many fabulous historical and contemporary buildings, handicraft markets, and other attraction. 5 minutes walk to polanco Our seven private non smoking room, suitable for one or two people, are furnished with either comfortable single or double beds. The immaculate and spacious shared or private bathrooms have 24 hour hot water. Facilities include wireless internet access. On the main floor is a comfortable living room , and a patio great for conversation with other travelers. The staff is welcoming, warm, and friendly, and speaks excellent English. Airport pickup is available with an extra fee. (at the moment only for flights after 22:00 hours) For security reasson, official ID of every guest is required (no exception) ( No local visitors allowed in the rooms area without reservation) Cancellation Policy 72 hours. Lockout 12:00 to 16:00 (afternoon) The hostel as two small dogs, consider this if you have some asma problems. Ask the staff for an early checkin or late checkout conditions.
