Nice, clean, friendly hostel in the historic, chilled out and safe area of Coyoacan. The staff are real helpfull and friendly, and the kitchen and bathrooms are nice and clean. There's a cool little courtyard to relax and have a drink too. However the atmosphere is most times a little too quiet... more

This hostel had orange signs on the gate saying clausurado por violar la ley: closed for violating the law. Rang the bell and knocked for several minutes. Pretty sure this hostel is closed indefinitely. Big disappointment. Ed Stark USA

This was a clean modest place to stay, without fun. However the real problem was that it operates illegally, i.e. has not the appropriate permits to operate as a hostel: no taxes, no security no guarantees!

Great stay, would absolutely stay here again. Make sure you take care of all business before the night staff´s shift comes. If it´s the same guy, he´s probably drunk and has no idea where anything is and doesn´t have any keys...other than that, EXCELLENT!

An excellent hostel and the price is unreal! More than exceeded expectations, and for the price I can't recommend it more not so central in the city but this just makes for a quieter more chilled atmosphere, in a nice neighbourhood!

The staff were nice, but they were not there most of the time.. or are too busy taking care of other things.. or too many things at the same time. Also, if there can be more written information about getting in & out, (the real) breakfast time etc.. that would also be helpful.
