Brilliant place to stay--very chill, feels like a home away from home. Thomas is a great host! The neighborhood is low-key and residential, but has cool restaurants that stay busy long into the night (and morning). Walking distance from the metro, which is also a big plus.

We had an amazing night at Casa Comtesse! Just there for one evening, we had a nice wine and cheese party at the huge dining table until the wee hours of the morning. Very large and airy space. The whole place was immaculate and homey. Thomas was a very gracious host. I wouldn't want to stay... more We had an amazing night at Casa Comtesse! I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Comtesse! Very well may be the coolest place I've ever stayed at on holiday!

we had the most wonderful time in mexico city. casa comtesse was so clean and quiet... you can tiptoe down the cool steps in the morning and make your coffee and toast. you can smoke a cig on the terrace with thomas's little bunny rabbit. you can wake up in the middle of the nite and pour... more we had the most wonderful time in mexico city. casa comtesse was so clean and quiet... you can tiptoe down the cool steps in the morning and make your coffee and toast. you can smoke a cig on the terrace with thomas's little bunny rabbit. you can wake up in the middle of the nite and pour yourself a cool glass of water from a lovely hand painted ceramic pitcher. you can walk down the block and have the most amazing michelada and shrimp tostada in the world. i miss mexico city and casa comtesse absolutely.close

If this were a five star rating system, I would give Casa Comtesse FIVE STARS... definitely... with out a doubt. The Decor here is some Mid Century modern mixed in with contemporary touches for comfort and convenience. It is simple to see that Thomas, (the owner) decorated this guest house with great attention to detail and a flair for style. There is also a white rabbit who lives on the terrace named Cumplito, he adds to the unique flavor that Casa Comtesse has... SUPER COOL. Thomas was such a great host, He is very knowledgeable about the city, and fun to hang with. I am glad he had time to sit and chat with my friends and I while we were there. I still communicate with him via email and facebook. As for location it could not be better. If you are not familiar with Mexico D.F. and its neighborhoods, just now that Condesa is the place to be, and Casa Comtesse is located on a main drag in the heart of Condesa. On the street below there plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs which will suit any budget and cater to any lifestyle and age. There is also a super market two blocks away. I could go on and on about how truely awesome this place is, but in order to wrap it up, it ranks 100% in every category... Cleanliness, Hospitality, location, security, and fun. This is a great place for people who have chic or Hip and stylish sensibilities but don't have the budget for a super expensive hotel. Besides this place is way cooler.close
