The womens bathroom smelled of mildew, and i'm also the girl bathroom is in the womens dorm so if your staying in the mixed dorm and you have to go to the restroom you have walk through the girls dorm in order to use the restroom, it didn't really matter to me but i'm sure it sucks for the girls staying in that dorm. the guy who works there was also kinda odd, i don't recall his name but he was indeed odd.close

Noisy !!! There is a place behind the hostel playing loud music. The music is not bad, but if you had an exhausted day visiting Uxmal or any other ruins, you wouldn’t want to sleep with Reggae tunes.

if it wasn´t for the volunteer staff i don´t think much would ever get done at this place, and they def added to the atmosphere by inviting friends over for drinks. Other than that it was pretty quiet; Serveral beds apparently had bed bugs too.

Private room was only semi private - the wall dividing the rooms did not go all the way to the ceiling so when people from the other room came in late and turned on the light it woke us up and when they got up early to pack and leave it was very noisy
