To finish off our afternoon we took a bus (21) to the Calanques and walked around on the fabulous cliffs until we came to a beautiful mediteranean vista. Breathtaking! The following day we took a boat from Vieux Port to the Chateau d'If and had a great romp on the island. All in all, Marseille is a hoppin' little town for a quick getaway.close

Very central location - right beside metro line and Vieux Port bang in the City Centre. However Vieux Port is an obselte tourist attraction - it's nothing special)

Top Rated Marseille Attractions

  1. Open top city bus tour80%

One of the best introductory city bus tours I have ever been on. Leaves one very well placed to later revisit the spots that are of special interest to you in this spectacular, historical, stylish & gritty city. Only 2 hours from Dublin direct & France's 2nd largest city.
