Located in the heart of the Medina, Cafe Arabe is a restaurant and bar in one. It's also one of the only places where you can buy alcohol in the old town! Food in the restaurant is good (you can get western food if you want) but the rooftop terrace is the highlight. The perfect place for a beer...

If you are after an upmarket place to spend your money then go here. You'll be sitting on a terrace above the noise of the streets and is really only there to cater for tourists. Perch on stools designed for looks rather than comfort, sip your expensive drink and then leave.

Wouldn't be a fan. Too expensive, too pristine, too manufactured for the tourists. Certainly bears no relevance to life in the Medina.
