When we got there we were given an excellent introduction to Marrakech by Aziz and a map that was very useful. It had a nice homely family feel about it and all the guests seemed... more relaxed enough to be friendly and chat about their experiences. They arranged a tour to the High Atlas Mountains that was truly memorable with two more than excellent guides, Moustaff was a real hit with all! close ”

  “ Good chance they will try to dump you in another hotel, which is really lousy (cockroaches and stray cats in the beds, shared shower which is a toilet at the same time, cold water, no locks on the doors). We ve seen it happen a lot when we were here, and most of the time they don t even give... more money back (suddenly staff doesn t speak English). They also tried to dump us there, even after we spend a good week in the real hotel (and spend quite a lot). DO NOT GO HERE! Lousy hotel, unfriendly staff close ”

The people who run it live there behind curtains and during our stay there was domestic violence and fighting. The room (20) facing outside to the souks is TINY(it can only just fit the double bed in it and only has a curtain separating the bathroom from bedroom) but if you ask for one of the other rooms facing into the riad you will have more room to move and a proper... more proper bathroom. Disappointed in the people who work there though - they will try to sell you their 'private taxi' service which ends up being a petit taxi which you can get yourself and pay half the price! close ”

Locals were very keen to help you find the place (probably ask the elders, they would direct you back to the young men who can speak french or english, but out of respect for their elders are less likely... more likely to hassle afterwards for a tip!) Very typically Arabic decor, beautiful. The room had attached ensuite which was dirty and the water was cold. Overall fine. But on return I would explore other places. close ”
