Lovely Riad, in the midst of the bustle but a quiet sanctuary none the less. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, happy to help in any way they could. The room was small and tidy with a smaller bathroom that served its purpose. We had fun with the shower but I wouldn't be put off by that.... more

We had a really lovely time, if you want something clean and exceptionally friendly then this is the place for you. The staff were knowledgable, and the Riad was beautiful.

Only quibble is there was no door between bedroom and shower - curtain only. Brreakfast on the roof terrace was lovely.

Great place to stay only criticism I would have is that it would have been nice to have some kind of literature or map of things to do. We unfortunately missed out on all of Maria's helpful tips which one of the other travellers commments talked about as she was away when we were there.

The breakfast on the terrace is wonderful, esp. the large glass of deliciously sweet fresh-squeezed orange juice. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is very central (very close to the square). The room on the ground floor can get smoky if people are smoking in the courtyard.

Thanks so much to Maria and the staff for making us feel welcome in this lovely authentic riad! As with all accommodation in the medina, this place is pretty hard to find! Would recommend taking the transfer from the ariport to make it easier! Cant go wrong with this place :)

Really nice Riad in location close to old city. Staff were helpful and the breakfast on the roof was lovely. It was the best place we stayed in Morocco.

Riad Dar Maia was very welcoming - we got Mint Tea on arrival, and were taken to the Airport on departure - with a lovely breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The riad was very serene and quite an oasis of calm away from the frenetic Marrakech streets. Really well located (once you can work out... more

I highly recommend Dar Maia! It's lovely, friendly, Julie who works there is great, it's clean, it has hot water all the time(apparently this is uncommon!). The rooms are beautiful and there's a lovely terrace to hang out on upstairs.
