Marrakech City Guide

overall city rating 80%

Exotic Marrakech is a scintillating mix of old and new, and has become an increasingly popular destination amongst travellers. This Moroccan city has a population of over a million people. It's divided into the historical, old area of the city called the Medina and the new area of the city, where Gueliz and Hivernage are the two main districts. As well as historical sites and museums, Marrakech is home to many 'souks' or markets. Restaurants and bars can be found in abundance too. All these combine to make Marrakech an extremely attractive choice for a trip.

Great cheap place to go, to see and experience a culture like no other, great for student trips and budget trip. See the moroccan culture, experience a little bit of the small towns around or even the sahara desert. Great place to go, to relax, to adventure and to bargain for anything.
