But just go sit on the beach it was cool. There is a strange garden near that port that I loved too. The hike to Gibralfro Castle is really long and hot but you get cool views of the city so it´s worth it.close

This was actually much better - the beach was much more beautiful, spacious, and less populated. It was an easy place to navigate on foot, with a plethora of shops and beautiful warm weather. There are any number of wonderful small eateries, and a McDonalds for the picky. Be aware of bus schedules - this gave us some trouble when we were trying to return to Madrid. There are two stations in town.close

Hotel Humaina 92%
Great place & I do recommend it. However, a few little warnings... 1. The ensuite in the "mixed dorm (6 x bed) with ensuite" is available for all to use until 12pm, so expect random people to walk in and out until midnight. 2. It is really hot & not much airflow through the place. 3. It is...

2Fabulous place, so peaceful and quiet, only 15-20 mins drive out of the centre (albeit a drive of amazing views!). Such a nice change from the characterless high rises of Malaga! One point - directions given were not very clear (in fact, they told you to ask someone for the road from Malaga!),...
